Disaster Recovery Services Addendum

Overview

This Disaster Recovery Services Addendum supplements the Aegisys Master Agreement and defines the terms specific to Disaster Recovery (DR) services provided by Aegisys.

Service Description

Aegisys provides Disaster Recovery services designed to protect business continuity through automated backup and recovery capabilities. Services include:

  • Automated daily backups to offsite locations
  • Recovery Point Objective (RPO) commitments as specified in SLAs
  • Recovery Time Objective (RTO) commitments as specified in SLAs
  • Regular disaster recovery testing and validation
  • 24/7 support for recovery operations

Data Protection

All data protected under DR services is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Backup data is stored in geographically distributed data centers for maximum availability.

Service Level Agreements

Specific SLA terms including RPO, RTO, and availability targets are outlined in the applicable Service Schedule or Order Form. Aegisys commits to meeting all stated SLAs unless failure is due to:

  • Customer actions or inaction
  • Force majeure events
  • Third-party service failures
  • Customer data corruption or loss

Recovery Procedures

In the event of a disaster, customers must:

  • Notify Aegisys support immediately at 1-866-961-1805 Option 9
  • Provide authorization to initiate recovery procedures
  • Cooperate fully with Aegisys recovery teams
  • Test recovery procedures quarterly
